Excerpt
Chapter One
As soon as the front door closed I was out of my chair and watching from the window as my girlfriend walked down the path, heading for work.
Once I saw her reach the end of the road and get in her friend's car–the same friend always picked her up–I made sure the doors were locked and headed up to the newly converted attic. Originally, I had it modified so I could work in peace away from Sally and her friends, who always seemed to be around the front room, talking about girly things like make-up, lingerie, and which film or television star they would fuck.
Even though I knew that Sally would never cheat on me, and she was only having a laugh with her friends, it wasn't what I wanted to hear, what my girlfriend would do with this star or that star in intimate detail, so when I told her my plans for the attic she agreed it would be a good idea. In only a matter of weeks it had been completed. Once it was done, I moved all my computer equipment up there, kitted it out like a home office, and even put a sofa bed in there in case I worked too late. I was a digital artist and web designer and when an idea gripped me I rarely wanted to leave it, even to sleep.
That was when I found out that I liked to do more than design websites or draw fantasy figures. Being alone had given me all the peace and free time I had wanted, yet, niggling at the back of my mind, I found myself thinking more and more about what Sally and her friends talked about, especially the lingerie. The way they used to describe the different feeling of different materials against their naked bodies, the items and colors of lingerie they would wear, what they wore for what occasion, what each different piece made them feel like; it all used to have me getting aroused more and more often.

Author's Bio

J.S. Morbius is the pseudonym of an engaged father to nine children, four of his own and five stepchildren. He is also partially disabled, having been born with a neurological condition that has caused his nervous system to deteriorate over the years and finds writing to be the way to express his feelings, and fantasies.
Having been writing for less than five years, Star Search, published by Naughty Nights Press in November 2011, was his first release.
His second stand-alone release, Addicted to Charlie, came out in June 2012, quickly followed by Naughty Hot Shots - Reunited at a Reunion, which earned him his first ever bestseller certificate from his publisher, NNP, and then shortly after that his next Transgender release, Naughty Hot Shots - Top Of The Class, which earned him yet another silver star at All Romance Ebooks on the very first day.
J.S. has several stories, both gay male and transgender, currently on the editing table of his publisher that he hopes will be out to his fans shortly. A recent surgery to assist him in his mobility has added to the unfortunate delayed releases, but now that J.S. is on the mend he has jumped back into the wonderfully busy process of working with his editor to cultivate his upcoming works.
J.S. now considers writing to be his main occupation, and continues to write, mainly in gay male, transgender and cross dressing genres.

He shifted so she could lie upon him, his fingers moving gently over her back. He grew hard again, and turned toward her, hoping to feel her around him.
Their kiss was needy, greedy, neither wanting to give the other up. He craved life, craved the vampire who filled him with fire. Lynn pressed herself flat against his chest and Terrance pulled her leg onto his hip, getting closer and positioning himself to enter her at the same time.
She held his cheeks and stared into his eyes, her beautiful amber ones glowing in the faint light. “I love you, Terrance.”
“I know. I love you, too.” He thrust up into her and she didn’t blink, still intent. She closed her eyes as he stroked in a second time, her body succumbing to him. He was lost in the moment as well, a feeling of completeness, oneness. And even though they were one, they seemed…lacking. It made no sense to him. What more could he want?
She looked over his face. “I miss them, too.” That was it, of course. He wanted Nicholas and Sophia as well. As wonderful as taking Lynn for himself was, he wanted the others too.
“Soon,” she whispered, kissing him again. “They have Kate now, but tomorrow, it will be you.”

Cover Reveal And Excerpt - Blue Moon House: Investor @angelicadawson

Blue Moon House: Investor by Angelica Dawson

Terrance is fascinated with the vampires of Blue Moon House. When a fire leaves them homeless, he seizes the opportunity to put them in his debt and himself into their hearts. They agree to his proposition of a new house in America and set off on a voyage of wonder, danger and pleasure.

Investor is the fifth installment of Angelica Dawson's Blue Moon House series. With each subsequent volume set further into the past, there is no need to read these books in order. Just pick it up, and enjoy!

Here is a longer excerpt from Investor:

He’d been coming to the ladies of Blue Moon House long enough that the true proprietor of the House had identified herself. Sophia and Lynn shared more than ebony black hair, they were also much older than they appeared, eternal. Once sure of his discretion, they had asked for payment in a new fashion. All the whores knew Sophia, Lynn and Nicholas were vampires, but Terrance was one of the few clients to share in the secret.

If Lynn had bitten Eliza, the girl was lucky to still be as focused as she was. The vampire bite was accompanied by a rush greater than any tobacco, any opiate. However, the object was to provide him with a show, not feed. If she wanted that, she should have taken Amelia’s place.

“Mmm,” Amelia hummed in response to his increased arousal, the thought of Lynn biting him. He wanted to chide Lynn but didn’t want to interrupt.

Terrance pushed Amelia back and rose, approaching Lynn’s feet on the edge of the bed. He stroked his palms up the back of her legs while she used her mouth on Eliza. He couldn’t see her biting, only licking and sucking. The other girl swayed, her hands searching under Lynn, presumably for her small, round breasts.

Terrance had always preferred the woman with glowing brown eyes, even before he knew what she was. Using his thumbs, he gently pulled open the lips between her thighs. The skin between was pink, but not red like Eliza’s. That was nearly as dark as Lynn’s tongue. Amelia’s hands slid over his hips, stroking him while she pressed against his back.

He’d intended to watch the women, but it wasn’t enough. Amelia was doing a wonderful job, but he didn’t want to sit by. He wanted to be surrounded by women, smothered under them.

Guest Blogger - Will Darcy

Welcome Will Darcy to my blog today! You may find him at his web site, Mending Pens Remarkably Well, and at his Facebook page. Enjoy!

You remember, don't you?

The routine. It's like a bad soap opera storyline now isn't it?

Home from work. Chores. Chat. Chow.

Then, the bedroom.

Night, nudity, under the covers.

Then, what's next?

In a perfect world, you would be amazing, your partner would be amazing, every single time.
In reality, we aren't always satisfied, and it's okay.

It's okay to know that our partners aren't mind readers. It's okay to learn how to communicate intimately.

After all, isn't that why we read erotica?

We slide into the life of the characters, and from cover to cover we are under the covers with the hero or heroine. We are rolling in the sheets with every word, description, and image.

I read erotica, and I am adept at erotic hypnosis. I've been hypnotizing for about a decade now, releasing inhibitions and leading women to be more orgasmic.

Just like a novel, I stimulate the imagination. I take your imagination, and with your permission, I shape and mold it into that which you've longed for, for so long erotically.

So, if your partner is drifting into a routine; if the sexual chemistry between you two is AWOL, then dive into a good erotic romance.

Just allow the words to weave their web of wantonness around your mind now, stroking and stimulating you to new ideas for the bedroom.

Or living room. Or kitchen.

Or. . .

Guest Post - Angelica Dawson

Welcome my guest, erotic romance writer Angelica Dawson. She's here to promote her novel "Blue Moon House: Slave", part of her Blue Moon House series. This series is published by Naughty Nights Press.

Will has no interest in women. He thinks them all animals to be trained, beaten. It doesn't take him long to discover his preference for men, but time and error reveal how wrong view toward women is. Before long, he is able to separate the way he treats women, which is still horrific, from the way he regards women, as fellow human beings.

How does a slave become an equal? What does it take for a young man to see women in a new light?
In the fourth installment of her Blue Moon House series, Angelica introduces Will, a slave boy from the early nineteenth century. You can purchase Slave on Amazon, Smashwords, and Naughty Nights Press.

Angelica Dawson is the author of Blue Moon House, which has been in the top ten best-selling titles at Naughty Nights Press for over six months. She has also written two short stories, “The Highest Bidder” and “Leave Taking” which were each included in anthologies.

She contributes flash fiction to several blogging collectives and excerpts from work in progress can also be found on her blog. She is active on Facebook  and Twitter.

She has been writing for several years and having sex a lot longer than that. Angelica is a wife, mother and environmental consultant. Her love of plants and the outdoors is not diminished by the bloodsucking hoards – mosquitoes and black flies, not vampires.

Here is an excerpt from Slave:
He wrapped a dark scarf over Will’s eyes and tied it over his ears as well. Will could still hear, but soft noises, like the creak of the wardrobe, would be much harder to make out. “Now, be ready, for anything.”
Will wasn’t sure how he could manage that, but he tried. He told himself something was coming. Something was going to touch him. He sucked breath through his teeth when it was hot. Something very warm was being pushed into his belly, just above his still erect penis. It wasn’t scalding, but very nearly. Whatever it had been was gone, and now cool moisture dripped down his back. Oil, he was sure, but odorless. He couldn’t be sure it wasn’t water.
He gasped and pulled against his bound arms, nearly losing his balance again. Water rushed down on him. The entire ewer had been dumped upon him, drenching.
He felt softness on the backs of his legs and then a single point moving up his side, a fingertip.
He had just started to relax into the soft tingling when something cracked against his backside, flaring pain in his ass cheeks. He tried to sit back, cover the exposed skin, but Nicholas took hold of the ropes linking Will’s elbows and lifted him upright.
“Red. Tell me when you see red,” he tried to tell Will.
A second stroke landed near the first, offset just enough to not sting. He’d had punishers as careful. They made each stroke hit a slightly new area so that none hurt too much, but his entire backside burned in the same heated glow. Nicholas landed two more strikes before his lips closed on Will’s shoulder.
He groaned and leaned his head into Nicholas’, loving the feel of his soft lips, his wet tongue. Nicholas bit, and Will cried out as blood tried again to rush in and out of his penis, constricted by the leather binding him.
“Master, please.”
“More?” Nicholas asked, his hand brushing over the skin he had beaten.
The tingling made Will shudder and shake. “Yes! Yes, more!” He arched back, eager for more pain and the pleasure that rushed in behind it.
Nicholas placed his blows and then teased the skin, making Will long for release, and yet, as he was denied, he seemed to find higher planes of pleasure. He was floating somewhere that the pain couldn’t reach him. Pain was there, and he gritted his teeth against it, but it was lost in the fog of the pleasure.
“You are mine,” Nicholas said, his hand stroking Will’s penis. “Right now, I hold you completely.”
“Yes, Master,” Will answered, free in his captivity. His mind and heart were not bound to this body, they had escaped when escape seemed impossible.

What Is Genre? A Reflection

I am often asked what genre I write. In response I either give a simple and not very useful answer or I turn to the emotional direction of my writing. I honestly believe that genre, if it exists at all, lies in the characters’ central emotions.
For me, a story begins not with a plot but with a quandary. There is a character in a situation, perhaps one he is sharing with another or perhaps a moment of isolation. In that moment the character experiences an emotion and that inevitable question, “What must I do about this feeling?” Perhaps it is a moment of hope, of attraction, or of terror. The list goes on.
Unlike you or I, that is when a character is created, not in passion and sexuality, not in physical arousal, not in parental coitus, but in the predicament.
The author’s job is to share the intense emotion of that moment with the reader, to make it come alive. As the writing process goes forward, that quandary may not be the starting place of the written story, but is always the starting place of its creation.
If the emotion of that moment is terror, the author is writing horror. If it is love, the author is writing romance. If it is a feeling of greed, we have crime, a desire to break the rules. And on…
Once that initial moment is set, there have to be others. After all, one instance will not sustain an entire book. Still it is the defining moment, and as such, it — not some rules of writing — defines the book’s genre.
Most of the protagonists in my books start with intense feelings of aloneness. They struggle to find themselves in the world. The genre that produces is what I call literary fiction. If you have ever felt different, lonely, un-connected — and who has not? — this is a genre that will speak to you.
Struggling to find themselves, these isolated characters are then opened to a gamut of emotions and reactions. Love is certainly one such feeling. Anger may be another. Sometimes a character can delight in that separation and cling to their isolation. Whatever the reaction, it provides the momentum to the plot. But always, the story starts with that character and that emotional quandary.
In my latest book Broody New Englander I set three stories in Maine, the area of the world where I was raised. In it, I move the reader through three genres.
The first of the these pieces is a novella, The Stylite. Putnam Williams is a would-be writer who thinks of himself as independent and un-needful of others. It is his self-obsessed loneliness that provides the force of what has been described by one critic as “virtuoso writing.” The novella asks quite simply, “Can there be real love, or is it all just deceit? Can there be real romance or is love illusion?” The genre, literary fiction.
The second piece is a long short story, Mothers’ Teat, which takes us inside the smoldering rage of a dysfunctional family. The starting emotion is not loneliness but fury, the kind of anger that leads to crime, perhaps to murder. The story ends not with resolution but rather with that rage hanging over the characters and the reader, leaving us all to wonder what darkness will come.
Finally, Hansom Dove is a short story which expresses that ultimate darkness. It is a story that moves us towards the protagonists defining sense of terror and thus into horror. His editor sends a lonely writer to an inn situated off the Maine coast — ostensibly to work on his novel. There he discovers the woman of his dreams. We must leave the summary there since you certainly won’t want any spoilers before entering that strange place.

Sometimes Ken Weene writes to exorcise demons. Sometimes he writes because the characters in his head demand to be heard. Sometimes he writes because he thinks what he have to say might amuse or even on occasion inform. Mostly, however, he writes because it is a cheaper addiction than drugs, an easier exercise than going to the gym, and a more sociable outlet than sitting at McDonald's drinking coffee with other old farts: in brief because it keeps him just a bit younger and more alive.
Ken’s stories and poetry have appeared in numerous publications including Sol, Spirits, Palo Verde Pages, Vox Poetica, Clutching at Straws, The Word Place, Legendary, Sex and Murder Magazine, The New Flesh Magazine, The Santa Fe Literary Review, Daily Flashes of Erotica Quarterly, Bewildering Stories, A Word With You Press, Mirror Dance, The Aurorean, Stymie, Empirical, Pirene’s Fountain, and ConNotations.
Three of Ken’s novels, Widow’s Walk, Memoirs From the Asylum, and Tales From the Dew Drop Inne, are published by All Things That Matter Press. His new book, Broody New Englander is through Red Chameleon. In 2015 ATTMPress will be bringing out Times to Try the Soul of Man.

Guest Blogger: Diana Perrine

Welcome guest blogger, Diana Perrine, erotic romance author.

Getting Started . . .

Since this is my first guest blog, I suppose introductions are in order. My name is Diana Perrine and I write erotic fiction sprinkled with truth. Which is which? Wouldn't you love to know, Darling.
I didn't actually choose to write erotic fiction, more like I was challenged … actually I was double-dog dared to write it. And as we all know, you can never back down from a double-dog dare.

A few years ago, a very scintillating trilogy was released. Henceforth, I shall refer to the trilogy as 'Those Books'. 'Those Books' dealt with a rather taboo topic. Everyone was talking about 'Those Books'. They flew off of the shelves. Love 'em or hate 'em; you know which books I'm talking about.

Even if you don't want to admit it, you've probably at least glanced at them. It's okay, you don't have to be coy with me Darling, I've read them too. A co-worker brought 'Those Books' into the office to share. We took turns plowing through the first, then the second, and finally the third of 'Those Books'. Wow!

'Those Books' had sex. Lots of sex, and not just explicit sex but rough sex. Freaky sex. Daring sex. Kinky sex.

Until I had read 'Those Books', I considered such topics as fodder for comedy sketches and CSI episodes. It's not like I didn't know these things existed, however those sort of behaviors were for deviants. Right? I knew that 'normal' sex included more than just the missionary position in the dark–it encompassed a wide variety of positions with the lights on, lingerie, and even some whipped cream once in a while. But it certainly didn't involve pain.

Sure, there is always the occasional problem of zigging versus zagging or those charlie horses that never get mentioned in romance novels... but spanking? Why would anyone want a spanking? I never liked them much as a child, I didn't suppose I would much like one as an adult either, especially not with a riding crop.

As much as I wanted to dismiss that lifestyle with a snicker, I couldn't help but wonder if people who enjoy, shall we say, a spicier flavor of ice cream, knew something that I didn't. Perhaps that is why 'Those books' were so popular, they awakened people, married women in particular, to the possibilities of variety, otherwise known as kink. And a new genre was born: mommy porn.

'Those Books' sold faster than proverbial hotcakes. While the topic was alluring, in my estimation, the quality of the writing left much to be desired. (I'm not the only one who holds that opinion.) As I bitterly complained my way through all three, my husband, Dodge, offered the following challenge: "If you don't like the writing, write a story like that, only better." Perhaps he had grown weary of my whining, or more likely, he sensed an opportunity to help with 'research'.

I hemmed and hawed. Me? Writing erotica? Was I even qualified? After a few incredibly revealing tete a tete's, a lot of exploration and a bit of hands-on research ;-), I figured out why 'Those Books' were so appealing.

Average people don't have dungeons in their homes, and helicopters on their roofs. While they are not, generally speaking, prudes, they may not have opened their minds to what variety is available. The most important legacy of 'Those Books', is they got people talking about sex, experimenting with sex and educating themselves about sex. When I finally realized this, I discovered what I wanted to say in my writing; I wanted to explore the process of how ordinary people season their sex-lives.

It all begins with a conversation, much like the ones Dodge and I had. In my first story, Sugar and Spice, Pepper and Austin, a happily married couple, break out of their comfort zone. Their conversation and adventures continue in And Everything Nice where they learn the importance of communication instead of just assuming they know what the other partner wants.

Many people dismiss the value of erotica in literature, but these stories can have a positive impact, because they get us talking to each other. We may not always agree on what is sexy, but if we can overcome our squeamishness and start talking about sex and all its flavors openly, we might just discover amazing new levels of intimacy.

The Pepper and Austin Adventures are available as ebook for download on Amazon.
Sugar and Spice,                                            ...and Everything Nice

For those with kinkier tastes, check out Perfect Submission and the soon to be released Perfect Domination also available on Amazon. My upcoming novel, Summer Sojourn is due out mid 2016.

Writer Profile - Phoenix Johnson

Phoenix Johnson is an Australian erotic romance writer. I interviewed her to learn more about her. She writes for Naughty Nights Press. Enjoy learning about her life and interests, and buy her books which are listed at the end along with where to find her on the web.

  1. Tell me about yourself, your life, where you grew up, schooling, etc.
I grew up in a tiny town of 1100 people, where it was safe to walk to primary school (we lived down the bottom of the hill, it was on the top, 3 houses away). I was teased relentlessly, so I wasn’t too fond of school most of the time, and by the time I was half-way through primary school, both of my older sisters had moved out of home, so I was pretty lonely. Some of those whom I thought were friends weren’t really friends. Yet I still had some sense of a happy childhood, so it wasn’t all that bad.

  1. How did you come to be a writer?
I always kind of have been, on and off, but it was through encouragement from my aunt and a celebrant that I got back to it this most recent time (in 2009).

  1. Do you think Bono is a pretentious twunt?
Hahaha that’s a new one. I do think so, sometimes, yes. Talented, passionate and smart, but yes, also often pretentious.

  1. Who are you influences as a writer? Favorite writers?
Who influences me: Stephen King (Eyes of the Dragon), Anne Bishop, Kim Faulks (awesome Aussie author), Cassandre Dayne (fellow NNP author), James Clemens. Favourite authors? Well, I’d have to say the same, plus a few more: Tolkien, Rowling, Martin Middleton, Fiona McIntosh… So many, really, it’s hard to narrow the list down. I’m passionate in my love of the books I enjoy.

  1. Which person(s) encouraged you the most as a writer?
Well there’s Gina (Kincade, owner of Naughty Nights Press), of course, who’s always there with a supportive word or kick up the backside as needed. And most of my fellow authors, obviously. Plus my family is all pretty supportive and interested. But I think the most supportive person has been my fiancé; when he knows I’m in the zone, he’ll try to push me to the next word count goal, and the next… A good spur on.

  1. Do you like pizza?
Almost as much as I like chocolate and scotch (not together!). I particularly love Barbecue Meatlovers and chicken, ham and pineapple (Chicken Hawaiin we call it in Aus). Just so wonderfully yummy. Though duck is awesome on pizza. Seriously, try it.

  1. With or without anchovies?
Only seafood I accept on my pizzas is prawns. Oh jees yummy.

(Interviewer's note: doesn't anyone out there like anchovies?)

  1. What advice would you give an aspiring writer?
Well, besides the obvious “write, write, write,” the best piece of advice I ever got is one I’m happy to pass on: feel it. If you can feel it, then so will the reader. Don’t feel silly if you get upset, scared, aroused or laugh your butt off at your writing. That is a good thing!

  1. If you could be a color, which one would you be and why?
Easy: Black. Black is not emo or goth (though I do like goth styling). It holds all the colours at once. It is everything at once. Just as I am more than one persona at once. Mother, student, fiancée, writer, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, friend… I’m never just one at a time. Black is not a single colour. Therefore it is me.

  1. Why did you choose to write erotic and do you have familial and friend support?
I didn’t choose it, my characters did. I had an inkling The Wolf in the Neighborhood would be a little spicy, since it starts with naked sunbathing. But it’s a fun, hot ride as an erotica writer. I do have support from those around me, as well, though my mother won’t read *those* scenes.

  1. Cats or dogs?
Horses *chuckles*. They’re my favourite, and I couldn’t pick between cats or dogs. They’re both wonderful animals.

  1. Name your favorite books that you've written.
While it’s not released yet, Persephone is my favourite. It’s a sweet fantasy, not like what I’ve written so far, but I put so much into the story that I can’t help but love her. She’s just scored a contract as well, so she will be published and others can fall for her.

  1. Where can we find you on the web?
I’m on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Goodreads, my own site, Authorgraph, Amazon Central, Authorsdb and many more places. I flit around. I’m even about to restart my blog, The Naughty Pages of The Phoenix!

  1. Thank you!
