Hi, everyone! It's almost Valentine's Day, and you're here for my blog hop contest. Entering is easy. Just leave a comment here telling me what you think of Valentine's Day. Don't forget to leave your email address. I'll choose a winner at random. The winner gets his or her choice between Feral Heat and Filthy Leuker: Feral Heat 2.

To learn more about both of these books, including buy links, blurbs and excerpts, go to the book pages at the top of this web site. Click on the names and you're off and running.

Also, my book Don't Call Me Baby is on a special sale at AllRomanceEbooks for the next couple of weeks. It's half off at five bucks. So for the price of a mocha latte you can get a fun and sexy book. Just think: once you drink the latte it's gone but a good book lasts forever.

  3. Since hubby's birthday is 2 weeks before valentine's day, it can be a pain in the neck. I love the sentiments behind valentine's day though.

  8. I have yet to find a good guy, but every year my dad gives me and my sister a cute gift (stuffed kitty!) and a card with a very special note in it. And of course, all his girls get flowers. My mom is so lucky. I need a guy like him. :)

  12. My husband always does something special for me. Sometimes he'll find a perfect song and leave a cd with his gift somewhere for me to find. Happy Valentines Day!

  18. I think when you're young you believe a lot more in the so called 'special days' like Valentines day, and there can be such euphoria over cards and gifts. For those who get them it's great, but for the others who don't it can lead to unhappiness. Apart from the first couple of years together when my husband and I sent each other cards, and my daughter was conceived on a Valentines night, the only card I ever got was from my first boyfriend when I was 13. He signed his name and drew a map to his house inside.
But my point is, we don't need a special day to prove our love for a partner. Surprises that show affection at any time of the year, no matter what they may be, keeps the love spark alive. But please, can someone tell this to my husband lol.
However this is just my opinion. Maybe I'm too cynical in my old age. Have a good one!

  19. Happy Valentine's Day! I plan on making my husband his favorite meal for Valentine’s Day: Jambalaya! We don't go out anymore on Valentine's Day. It's just too much trouble. Too many youngsters trying to impress their dates; the restaurants are crowded; the wait entirely too long; the staff rushes you and the food isn't all that fantastic. We do much better staying at home and having a nice meal, cuddling on the couch and watching a movie.

I love these hops. What a great way to discover new authors/blogs and visit with old friends.
Thanks for being part of the hop and for the chance to win such a fantastic prize! <^_^>

  24. My husband thinks it's a day the card companies made up to get more money. I like Valentine's Day, but I usually don't get much. Some chocolate would be enough.

  27. Valentine's Day at my house has changed over the years. In the early years of our marriage, my husband and I would do the dinner, flowers, and chocolate thing. As the children came along and our financial situations changed, we scaled things down. It is now tradition for us to celebrate on the 15th as everything is 75% off. Now we see who can get the best deal. Whoever does gets to choose the night's "entertainment ". We love it!!

  33. I have mixed feelings about Valentines Day. We shouldn't have a special day to show those in your life that you care about them. But with that being said, I'll be happy to accept any such tokens that may come my way!

  36. Happy v-day to all! My kids love this day as they get to use their creativity on making sweet warts and cards for me. My seven year old tells me she wishes she could get me more thi gs because she know I never do for myself but for my four kids all the time. Makes my heart melt when they bring me their master pieces.

  37. I love Valentine's Day for the day after sale on CHOCOLATE. When I was dating my now husband he told me he wasn't a flowers and card type of guy and after 9 years he still isn't. Don't get me wrong, he is romantic but just in other ways ;)

  38. Im not a big fan of valentines day. To me, is a holiday that were told to celebrate love on. Dont we already have anniversaries and special days? Not only that, but valentines can really suck for those who are single, have lost there loved one or whos partner is away. To me, valentines is another day. Im glad that others can find happiness in it though. ;) Thank you for the great giveaway!

  39. I don't have anyone to spend Valentine's Day with so the day really isn't that important to me. If I did have someone, I still don't think I would want to make a big deal out of it.

I feel Valentine's Day is overrated. Hubby & I surprise each other throughout the year with little things, which means more to than celebrating ONE day of love. This girl needs lovin' ALL year long baby!

  42. I'm a big romantic at heart, but over the years I've been disappointed with the entire holiday. I've always been the odd man out with others around me getting flowers/gifts at work from their significant others, cards etc. This year is different. I've been with my Muse/soul mate since the end of February last year. This will be our first official Valentine's Day as a couple, but that doesn't matter. Every single day with him has been wonderful and he spoils me rotten!
