Terrance is fascinated with the vampires of Blue Moon House. When a fire leaves them homeless, he seizes the opportunity to put them in his debt and himself into their hearts. They agree to his proposition of a new house in America and set off on a voyage of wonder, danger and pleasure.
Their kiss was needy, greedy, neither wanting to give the other up. He craved life, craved the vampire who filled him with fire. Lynn pressed herself flat against his chest and Terrance pulled her leg onto his hip, getting closer and positioning himself to enter her at the same time.
She held his cheeks and stared into his eyes, her beautiful amber ones glowing in the faint light. “I love you, Terrance.”
“I know. I love you, too.” He thrust up into her and she didn’t blink, still intent. She closed her eyes as he stroked in a second time, her body succumbing to him. He was lost in the moment as well, a feeling of completeness, oneness. And even though they were one, they seemed…lacking. It made no sense to him. What more could he want?
She looked over his face. “I miss them, too.” That was it, of course. He wanted Nicholas and Sophia as well. As wonderful as taking Lynn for himself was, he wanted the others too.
“Soon,” she whispered, kissing him again. “They have Kate now, but tomorrow, it will be you.”
